The Network - Peer Networks and Communities

NITLE peer communities--both e-mail lists and web-based resources--provide faculty and staff at participating colleges with forums for connecting with peers around specific topics of shared interest. In these virtual communities, faculty and staff share ideas, find answers to questions, and collaborate with colleagues across the NITLE Network.

The Moodle Exchange

For faculty, technologists, and librarians at participating campuses that use or are interested in using Moodle. Participants in this collaborative user community focus on the use of Moodle at smaller, independent colleges and universities, sharing ideas and best practices and helping each other troubleshoot technical or use issues specific to liberal education and undergraduate colleges and universities. In the NME, Moodle-using or Moodle-interested campuses share strategies and ask and answer questions about implementation, evaluation, migration, customization, and other Moodle-related topics. The MIV Community

For faculty, technologists, librarians, and administrators using and supporting the use of the Multipoint Interactive Videoconferencing (MIV) system, based on Marratech technology. Within the context of undergraduate liberal arts education, participants share materials, offer teaching strategies, announce MIV-related events and outages, and discuss collaborative teaching and learning in real-time, video- and whiteboard-assisted sessions.
