Liberal Education Today

Upcoming Events

NITLE is a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting liberal education. We provide opportunities for teachers in liberal arts contexts to create transformative learning experiences for and with their students by deploying emerging technologies in innovative, effective, and sustainable ways.

Core Services Discussion
Staff members at participating colleges who are charged with working in areas such as financial and ERP systems, networking technologies, identity management, security, and other central campus software systems and practices are encouraged to participate in NITLE's new Core Services Discussion. An e-mail list provides virtual support for this peer community, offering a place to connect and problem-solve. Find out how to subscribe.

Community Survey on Shibboleth and Identity Management
NITLE invites its participating colleges to help shape the development of its program on Shibboleth and Federated Identity Management. Program planners have developed a survey that will remain open until Friday, May 16, 2008. The survey is designed to garner community input on the current state of identity management practices at smaller, independent college campuses and to help shape NITLE’s professional development in this area.
