Rebecca directs and coordinates NITLE’s Workshops to Go program. In addition to developing the Workshops-to-Go catalog, she works with participating institutions to help them choose the right workshop for their needs. Rebecca also coordinates other professional development opportunities for NITLE, including conferences on topics such as “Learning to Write in the Digital Age” or “Technology-Assisted Approaches to Teaching Chinese.” She also facilitates the development of Intercampus Collaborative Courses that enable faculty and staff to leverage their unique strengths, enrich their curricula, and expand their students' learning experiences.

NITLE's Associate Director of Professional Development Programs, Rebecca received her B.A. in Russian and Classical Studies at Vanderbilt University and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She taught Classical Studies at Rhodes College, Denison University, and Sewanee: The University of the South and served as Assistant Director for Instructional Technology at the Associated Colleges of the South Technology Center.

Rebecca, her husband, Paul, and their son, Roman, live in Georgetown, Texas, with their ever-increasing book collection. Their motto is, "We make plans and then we change them."
