In 2007, NITLE has offered eighty-one professional development programs and a steadily growing suite of managed technology services to participating colleges. In 2006, more than 100 undergraduate-focused colleges and universities joined NITLE, coming together as a community to advance liberal education in the digital age. We are happy to announce that AMICAL (the American International Consortium of Academic Libraries), will be participating with NITLE as a Special International Affiliate. AMICAL's member institutions--in all, eighteen American-style, liberal arts colleges and universities located in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and West Asia--will participate in NITLE professional development opportunities and communities of practice as appropriate to their institutional interests.
